Who we are
Ukrainika (ukrainika.com) is run by Contenza K/S, Holmgade 8, 6430 Nordborg, Denmark. Company number (CVR) 43349023, VAT number DK43349023. You can contact us through the help form in your account after you log in, or by post to the address above.
By creating an account, using the course or buying a level, you agree to these terms.
The course
Ukrainika is an online course in Ukrainian from your first letter to level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). The alphabet and sounds (Pre-A1) and the first part of A1 (A1.1) are free. The other levels (A1.2, A2, B1 and B2) are sold separately or together as the full course.
You need an account to use the course. You log in with a link we send to your email address; there is no password. The course is meant for adults. If you are under 18, you need the consent of a parent or guardian to buy.
What you need: a current web browser on a phone, tablet or computer, and an internet connection. The speaking and pronunciation exercises need a microphone and your permission to use it. Nothing needs to be installed.
Prices and payment
Prices are in euros and include VAT. The price is shown before you pay. You pay once through our payment provider Stripe; there is no subscription and nothing renews. The contract is made when Stripe confirms your payment, and we then email you a receipt. If you already own levels, the full course costs less by the price of those levels.
What you get
A personal, non-transferable licence to use the levels you bought for your own study. Access has no time limit for as long as we run Ukrainika. If we ever close the service, we will tell you at least 12 months in advance.
We keep improving the course and may correct, reorganise or extend lessons. A level you bought keeps at least the scope it had when you bought it. Features that are offered separately, such as an AI conversation partner, show their own price and conditions before you buy them.
Your account
Your account is for you alone. Keep access to your email private and do not share your login. You may print the worksheets and handouts for your own study. You may not copy, sell or publish the course content. We may suspend an account that is shared or used to copy content.
Withdrawal, refunds and faults
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal, which ends when you start a level you bought, because you ask for immediate access at checkout. You can withdraw directly in your account. See Withdrawal and refunds. If something does not work as described, tell us and we will put it right. Your rights under consumer law (repair, price reduction or refund) are not affected.
Our responsibility
We take care that the course is correct and available, but we cannot promise a particular result, such as passing an exam. Ukrainika is not an official certificate. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For a purchase you have already made, the terms that applied when you bought it remain in force, unless a change is to your advantage.
Law and complaints
Danish law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you may go to the courts there. If you have a complaint, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Danish Centre for Complaint Resolution (naevneneshus.dk) or, if you live in another EU country, get help from the European Consumer Centre in your country (ECC-Net).
